Kimberly Robertson Music Movement and Creative arts April 1, 2009 operation Portfolio Hello, and grateful to Kimberlys Day Care, I am Kimberly Robertson and I receive and range this facility. Kimberlys Day Care has a classroom that it is approximately 614 full-strength feet in siae. We s surroundow our chalkboard on the West wall and table and chairs enough to patch up all of our students. We ascertain visual aids such as pictorial matters, items, press cutting outs, and drawings of the different items that exit be used in our employment today. Today our activity is My ABCs and Me and we lead trail approximately 20 minutes to work with the children on development their ABCs. This go out continue each calendar week until we involve went through the whole alphabet. We allow start with the cook A and work with it today. I lead put a read of an apple on the board for the children to see. I leave alone use the word Apple to introduce the sound of the letter, and suffer the children repeat the word with me, focusing on the A sound. We will discuss any of the childrens names that begin with or have an A in it.

I will grow an apple around to each of the children and let them feel it and bouquet it. We will have the children find items in the classroom that have the A sound in them and then to finish up the activity, I will let the children co! lor a picture of the letter A for them to take home with them. I will make copies of the artwork for the walls in the classroom. I will to a fault ask the children to work with their parents to find items in their house that has the A sound in them.
